Wow the meat especially from the farm shop is outstanding had great bbqs the venison burgers today was amazing credit to the butcher the service in the shop was amazing you ask them for what you want they provide! We have had numerous meals and it's always been bang on service great which has made us regulars to this love welcoming place thank you to all staff

Went last night for the ‘Valentine’s Special’. Lovely table setting and real effort made by the staff. All the food was served quickly and was warm and well cooked. Excellent value as well. We both really enjoyed the night. Thank you.

I’ve lived in Halifax all my life and I can’t believe this was my first time visiting Spring Head. Myself and my fiance had a breakfast there today, and then visited the farm shop afterwards and we were not disappointed. The quality of ingredients is amazing and the prices are so reasonable. I’ve paid more for breakfasts elsewhere, and the ingredients have not been fresh and local like they were here. Such a warm and welcoming setting, with friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. The lady who let us take a menu home (I don’t recall her name) was absolutely lovely, and so welcoming! We then went to the farm shop/deli to get ourselves some treats to take home and again, the prices are so reasonable when you’re getting such top quality ingredients. We will absolutely be visiting again - would recommend this place to anyone!

First visit ....staff all lovely and friendly and food superb ....the chips amazing and the ham sandwich fresh and they didn’t scrimp on the filling ....hubby loved the smash burger !!! Will Definitely return ...was lovely to see how the staff enquired after one of the regulars who appeared a little down....nice to see that interaction and compassion xx

Table of 4 adults, 1 child. Absolutely stunning food, the quality was fab!! The food came hot, cooked perfect ( some had steak) There was not a children’s menu , however there was small plates/ tapas suitable! Thoroughly enjoyed by all! Will definitely be returning! 100/10!

Went recently with my dad for breakfast and the food, drinks and service were all excellent. After our meal we popped down stairs to the farm shop and bought lots of goodies to take home. Can highly recommend.

We called in without a booking, and were accommodated with a smile. The food selection is huge, and was a struggle to choose from. I opted for the chicken flatbread, and I'm so glad I didn't get chips too, as it was huge. Service was fantastic, and we shall return soon.

A GREAT PLACE I have just visited this place for the first time in 15 years when it was The New Inn. What a transformation. Well done to all concerned. Yesterday for my birthday I called for a couple of drinks and the service was excellent as was the stout on draught similar to Guinness. Bloomin tasty. Today I called to meet a business colleague for breakfast and both had Eggs Benedict. Value for money and bang on. Alas I live abroad, but the next time I'm back I will be calling in. On another note the staff are a credit to this establishment.
